Today I took a old ball I had and changed the pitch on the thumb and tighten up the hole so my thumb would fit tighter and bowl 225-269-207-246 for 947

I bowl today with a tighter thumb hole and it work well. So  the fact  off a loose thumb hole is true.

I bowled scorers of 258-201-277-for 736
MYTH: A loose thumb guarantees a clean release.
FACT: Too loose a thumb hole causes squeezing and thumb bending, which can make bowlers both hang or lose the ball at the release point; a secure size without being tight is usually best.

Bowl in the  Galaxy Lanes Sr. Mens Classic  today rolled a 669 (238-215-216).
I used a storm Ball. Storm is my  first ball choice.

I started bowling at age 14 at a 6 lane house in Grand Blanc. Bowl Thur high school. Joined a men’s League after high school and have bowling ever sense about 45 yrs. My avg over the years has been between 185 to 215.  I’m now bowling in 4 leagues per wk avg 208. I’m at the present time a member of the Flint Senior Bowling Association and Director of the flint senior bowling tour.
