I have found that holding the ball to the side of your body, and in line with
the direction of your downswing which is right next to your body, if you
hold the ball in the center of your body, you must realign your swing at some
point, and this can cause other problems. Also hold most of the weight in
your left hand for right-handers and right hand for left-handers. It’s always
best to keep things simple as possible.
