There is know spare system that one can use. Most players simply throw the
ball straight and hard at the spares. One difference the pros bowl on a surface
with little difference between the conditioner in the center of the lane and on
the outside section. Compare that to typical league conditions, in which there
is much more oil concentrated in the center of the lane. Thus can assist a bowler
in hitting the pocket, but can be a detriment when shooting many spares.
